WORD OF THE DAY IS JUSTICE

Ps 103:6 The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly.

“Justice will not be served until those unaffected are as outraged as those who are,” Ben Franklin. As one of our founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, understood justice. He worked diligently for freedom from Britain and is credited with drafting the Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution. I think he would be appalled by the state of our country now. Maybe remembering that our country was founded “In God We Trust” is just what we need.

There is so much evil and injustice now that it makes me want to return to a simpler time of towns and communities dependent on each other with love and compassion for all. We need to understand that peaceful protests can stimulate positive change, but riots and demonstrations cause chaos. Satan loves chaos because it tears down the fabric of our country.

There are good people of all types, but we are all God’s people. He created us and keeps us safe. He will rescue us from wickedness, but we need to pray that he keeps his hand on America. In the Bible, as long as the people served and obeyed God, he kept his hand of protection on them, but he removed his hand when they turned to other gods. Chaos and devastation destroyed countries. Pray for God to rescue our people and save our land.
