WORD OF THE DAY IS NEVER FORGET

Ps 44:20-21 If we had forgotten the name of our God or spread our hands in prayer to foreign gods, God would surely have known it, for he knows the secrets of every heart.

Even with faith and obedience, this Psalm shows the defeat of Israel. When there is victory it’s easy to sing and rejoice of how wonderful God is, but here they are oppressed. The psalmist is confused. Why does God allow bad things to happen to his faithful children?  After many times of disappointment and scars from enemies we can fall back on past knowledge that if he did it once he will do it again. Never forget that God’s love is always there, you may feel he is asleep but he is not. Even when facing death never forget.

I have heard many stories of people facing the worst time between life and death and after praying, God sent angels of protection. Even when facing a fiery furnace, a lion’s den, a giant or a firing squad, God can and will save you, spiritually and even physically.

Always remember God’s promises and answered prayers to you. Never forget problems and situations that God took care of. Never forget the sickness, depression or discouragement God healed. Rely on God’s past record and depend on it for your present and future.
