Ps 7:17 I will thank the Lord because he is just; I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.
We should always be thankful no matter the circumstances. Years ago I felt over worked and underappreciated. After weeks of staying late to complete work, I made a conscious decision to thank coworkers. When I saw them doing extra things to help coworkers I said, “Thank You.”
Acknowledging their helpfulness produced a slight improvement in moral. Encouraged by the positive results, I praised how well the work flowed and thanked them for completing everything in an organized and timely fashion. One person commented that there was no need to thank them for doing their job. Why not?
Every time I thank someone, I count it a deposit in my “Thank Bank.” When God sees my “Thank Bank” filled he rejoices. My attitude of gratitude fills me with joy because I know I have God’s approval.
